On Wednesday, September 13th myself and the rest of the different academies from WHC went to the Ed center, at this center we learned about setting goals and about how to achieve them in our own exciting ways. After we heard a lot of people talk about how they set goals and achieved them and the ways that they did it, we were asked to do the same thing about our academy goals and our personal goals. When we were all about to start writing I had know idea what to write or write about because I never actually had to go into so much detail in previous years. I was stuck for a coupe of days and when I couldn't think of anything I asked my teachers for help and they explained it to me in a way that I would understand. Eventually I came up with a what I think is two very good goals.
At the end of this year I am going to be able to play piano at a grade 3 piano level. I will be able to play the songs that are in the grade 3 level piano book and other songs that are a little more complex. Everyday for about two months for one hour I will sit down at the piano and play a variety of different songs. My goal should be accomplished because if I put the time and the effort into it then I will get to where I want to be. If I stick to my planning then I should be able to hit certain points and in the end accomplish it all, I will keep track of the times that I play and fore how long as well. When I achieve my goal it will meet all my musical needs I will feel more confident in playing music, I will be able to play any song that I want. By June 2018 I would like to have achieved my goal of playing piano as in all of the songs that my band wants to learn and just songs that I want to play on my free time.
Although we have to set goals for school we were are also asked to think of a personal goal and wright a plan about it like we did with our academic goals. I have always been interested in this goal but never actually tried as hard as I know that I can. I want to keep fit, I want to work out not to only have a healthier life style but to feel better about my body and the way that I look. I would like to work out every other day and always give it my all. Even though working out helps you stay fit eating healthy works the same way and is just as important! I will be tracking all of the workouts that I do and How long it takes on a little whiteboard that says all of the days. I'm hoping that in 6 months I will succeed in ways that I know will make me feel 100% better. This plan I know for sure will work out because I am determined to achieve this goal!
